It is important to note that PRO PLUS® cannot replace sleep, it temporarily relieves tiredness, and should be used only occasionally as an alertness aid. If you feel tired all the time you should contact your doctor.
Revision Tips:
- Let's be honest, the odd hour here and there is not enough for the majority of us. Make a revision plan you can stick to, with a daily outline that includes times for breaks and meals.
- Combine a mixture of both your strong and weak subjects into your timetable; don't do all the nightmare topics at once as your confidence level may slip.
- If you need help, ask for it! Lecturers and teachers will be there to support you.
- Set targets that you know you can reach and tick them off as you accomplish them.
- Find somewhere quiet to revise and make sure the room is well lit and ventilated.
- It's important to stay hydrated; this will help to prevent tiredness.
- Put your exams into perspective, they are only one aspect of life.
- Do try and remember to get a good night's sleep - exhaustion is not a student's friend!
Revision Techniques:
Condense Information
Condense notes so that it makes the information easier to remember, rewrite and cut down as you go.
Highlight Information
Target key areas using colours and symbols. Visuals help you remember the facts.
Audio Record
You could try recording important points, quotes and formulae. If you hear them and read them, they're more likely to sink in.
Talk
Read your notes out loud, it's helps you to register the information.
Test and Retest
See what you can remember without notes, but don't keep going over the subjects you already know.
Timing
Practice with old exam papers against the clock, it's an excellent way of getting up to speed
