If you really feel like you've taken on too much, take a deep breath and look at what you actually have to do on a daily and weekly basis and see where you can make changes that will help you get everything done.

See where you've got any spare time, and be a bit ruthless. If you know full well that you've been pushing it a bit with the nights out, and you've not been able to crawl out of bed until well after day time telly has started, just make a deal with yourself to cut down on the socialising a bit until you get on top of the coursework. It doesn't have to be forever, just try and cut out a night or two per week, or the occasional shopping and coffee trip, and then use that time for getting to grips with assignments.
